Bookwyrms

Bookwyrms is an animated shortfilm created by Mona Gassner, Jessica Eugster, Cheyenne Klossner and Benjamin Gilli at the HSLU (Hochschule Luzern Design, Film & Kunst) as a bachelor project.
The film follows Astrid, a young author struggling to write that gets pulled through a magical world of books and stories by her come to life idea. The inky, dragon-like creature accompanies her throughout the various stages of the creative process. This film can not be seen in it's entirety online yet but I will update this page when it can.

On this project I was mainly responsible for the 3D environments and textures and that make up the backgrounds of most of the film. Additionally I was very involved in the storyboarding and script writing, layout, all of the sound design and sound direction, and a lot of rough animation, inbetweening and coloring.
